Welcome to Temple Baptist Church. We are a people of the Word. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe that a person’s greatest need is to be rightly related to God through Jesus Christ. We further believe that each person who is a Christian should be actively involved in a local church.
All Christians need a place where they can minister and be ministered to, love and be loved, grow and mature. Temple Baptist Church is committed to being a place of prayer, ministry and discipleship. We also believe the reason God has place this church on the corner of 5th and F Streets is to reach out into the community and let all the people know we love them. We try to do this by various ministries. We share the gospel through the personal expression of our faith by witnessing and visitation in our community, and by sharing the gospel in mission projects around the world.
Temple ministers to the whole person, and we are sensitive to the needs of our members and others in the community.

God is so Great! I accepted Christ as a teen but it wasn't until just a few years ago that I understood what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I now feel the depth of Gods grace. He has allowed me to know Him and wants to guide me in everyday life. For me this is a fantastic gift that I never knew God had given me. I have learned that spending time in his word, praying, and listening to God could be so great. The Holy Spirit has steered me to work with the teens in our youth group. I feel honored that God would let me help serve in His kingdom and have truly been blessed by sharing in our teens lives.
